Ultimate Casting Competition - Win a Chance to Fish with Kevin VanDam!

Stop bragging to your buddies and put your money where your mouth is!  This event will take place on Lake Ultimate the first hour and last 2 hours of each day.  Contestants will compete in a side-by-side timed "Cast Off."  Each contestant will get 3 casts to "put it in the cup."  If you get a cast in the cup you will win a fishing prize valued at $50 and you will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing of going fishing with Kevin VanDam!  Grand Prize drawing will take place on Monday, March 19, 2012.

Check in at the NBAA booth for details and to enter.  No pre-registration required.  An entrance fee of $5 is required to register for the competition.  All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Kalamazoo Chapter of the March of Dimes.  First come, first served based on the time available.  An official NBAA judge will be on hand officiating the competition.  The Grand Prize winner need not be present to win.

Win the Ultimate Fly-In Fishing Trip to North To Adventure!

All attendees are welcome to register to win the Ultimate Fly-In Fishing Trip for 4 to North To Adventure!  The grand prize winner will be drawn on Monday, March 19, 2012.

The prize trip includes a week long fly-in wilderness fishing trip package on the American Plan at Lodge Eighty Eight for up to 4 people including the flight in and out from White River, deluxe accommodations, boats, motor, gas, etc.  Trip to be scheduled based on availability in the summer of 2012.  Must be 18 years or older to win.  No cash substitute is available to the winner.  Non-transferable.  If original booking is canceled, trip winner will forfeit the prize.  Travel to White River, taxes and fees will be the responsibility of the winner.

Register to win this amazing opportunity for you and a guest at the Show!  You can sign up during one of Babe's Lake Ultimate seminars on Saturday at 1pm and 5pm.  Linda Lee of WYCD will be at the Show on Saturday from 4-6pm and will draw the grand prize winner will be drawn during Babe's last seminar.  The dinner will be held on Saturday, January 14 at 8:30pm at Famous Dave's ONLY, so you must be able to attend at this time to win.  Listen to WYCD for more details.

WRIF's Bobbing for Trout Competition!

It's back!  WRIF FM will once again host the Bobbing for Trout Competition on Saturday at the Show!  Suzy Cole of WRIF will be broadcasting live from the Show on Saturday from 10am-3pm and the competition will immediately follow.  The grand prize winner will receive a 1/2 Day Muskie Charter Fishing Trip with Mr. Muskie Charters.  Listen to WRIF FM for more details and how to qualify to compete.

Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger Food Drive

The Ultimate Fishing Show has partnered with Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger for a huge opening night food drive.  Bring a sack of non-perishable food items (minimum of 4 pounds or 6 cans or boxes) to the Suburban Collection Showplace on opening night only, Thursday, January 12 and get in for FREE!  The food will be collected by volunteers from local conservation organizations and donated to the Red Cross and area food banks.

The first 500 lucky attendees to the Ultimate Fishing Show - Detroit on Thursday and Friday will receive a FREE commemorative Dardevle fishing lure courtesy of Eppinger Mfg.  Eppinger is a 4th generation family owned Michigan fishing lure manufacturer with a century long history of producing the world famous Dardevle.  These special lures bear the logo of the show and a special run has been produced just for this event.  Make sure to attend early to secure this valuable collectors item.  Factory experts from Eppinger will be at the show every day to answer questions.
